The Directors of the PPACC
Roger S. Peterson
Roger S. Peterson, a 30-year resident of Rocklin, is leading the charge to establish a Placer Performing Arts and Cultural Center (PPACC). His background is in marketing and publishing. Peterson was a marketing communications manager at two technology companies. He is past president of the American Marketing Association/Sacramento and one of the national AMA’s 300 Professional Certified Marketers (PCM). He is a former acquisition editor in college textbook publishing who sponsored 45 textbooks in psychology and teacher education. He has been a co-author on four books and developmental editor on six books. Berrett-Koehler Publishers frequently calls on Roger to write pre-publication reviews of contracted manuscripts. Peterson was a columnist for Tradeshow Week, co-author on three columns for the Sacramento Business Journal, and was a four-time guest editorialist for The Sacramento Bee. His publications exceed 150 articles on business, history, and education, including four magazine cover stories. He has a BA in political science from Macalester College.

Teresa Stirling Forsyth
Teresa Stirling Forsyth, MFA, MS and chair of the www.placerrep.org exploratory committee. Originally based out of San Francisco, her prior works toured to venues such as The Kennedy Center, Dallas Theatre Center, and San Diego Repertory Theatre, and internationally to Europe, Asia & South America. Prior to her move to Rocklin, California, Forsyth was a Silicon Valley software company VP overseeing product development & product management, and artistic director for two SF Bay Area theater companies. Forsyth’s background includes being the founder and/or board officer for several arts & culture and economic development nonprofit organizations, and she has taught at various institutions, including UC Davis, Shawnee State University and the University of San Francisco. Most recently she collaborated on and directed the world premiere of Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey at Sacramento Theatre Company and is currently the director and co-playwright of a new work My Jekyll & Hyde, to premiere in Placer County in the Spring of 2020.
